Well built both the camera and the housing are well built. The housing has great features that both protect the seeds from water as well bird options like the birch location. The quality of the camera is rugged. I have no doubt it would be able to weather the storms. Bird seem to be attracted to this feeder. I had some visit the feeder even before I had filled with seed. Also the power options are great. You can opt for plug in cord or solar. The product comes with both options. It also is very easy to mount and if you are like me leave the screws out a bit ans you can take down for easier filling. I should also mention it can be mounted to a tree with a provided strap. There are some disappointments though. First access to fill with seed and hooking up the solar/power cord is difficult. Not sure you can really solve the power cord without sacrificing the ruggedness of the housing unless you make a quick disconnect from the mount. Especially since once it is plugged you are good. But for filling, the top should simply come off with simple side locks. It swings to the front which makes sense for clearance however is difficult and prone to break. If you have a lot of birds and fill often make be an issue. The second would be for this price you do not get a SD card included. Just a small 2 gig would be cheap and would work. Finally the app is a bit pesky... It wants notify ya constantly for there monthly service. It reminds you every time you open the app. It does have a great bird identification subscription I feel would be great for bird enthusiastic folks but lets but there is no need to constantly remind us. Bottom-line this is a well built great feeder that is very easy to get up and running that looks great I would recommend to anyone that does not mind the minor issues.
