I will say I don’t personally know how easy it was. It took my dad and stepmom about an hour to put together and my dad said he’d have been really mad if all he had was the tools it came with. He said having a power tool made it far more easy. He also needed my stepmom to hold up certain pieces while attaching things. So you will want two people. But now that it’s together it’s adorable and very sturdy.It looks great and my son loves it. It was super annoying to put together though.This bed is absolutely adorable! Only issues were the instructions where hard to understand. One spot on the fence was messed up, but its hidden on the back side of the bed. And one piece was split, but fixable and is also hidden. My 3 year old absolutely loves her big girl bed!Edit/Update - 1 Star Review, DO NOT BUY:A month after having the bed frame and trying various tactics to air it out the paint fumes are still overbearing. Neither my wife nor I are comfortable letting our daughter sleep in the same room as this frame. The fumes from the paint give both of us headaches and show no signs of abating over time. We are going to throw this frame in the trash. Huge waste of money, we're very pissed off. DO NOT BUY!Original 3 Star Review:Very cute bed, looks as expected. It was a bit of a pain to construct due to the strength required to get the screws in and the balancing issues - recommend two people construct. The main problem is the paint has a very strong smell and as a result the frame in it's entirety needs to be aired out for an extended period of time. We're talking 1-3 weeks of air out time. I put this frame together in my daughter's bedroom (took about 3 hours) to discover that I had a paint fume induced head ache and was not comfortable letting my daughter sleep in the room as a consequence. This led to our daughter sleeping in the guest room for 2 nights while her bedroom aired out AFTER I took the whole frame apart and removed it from the room. The frame then aired out in our garage for a week. The following weekend I brought the whole frame back into her bedroom and left it in pieces to see if it still smelled - it did. After a few hours I had to remove the pieces again and re-air out the bedroom. It's been almost two weeks since we got the frame and I still cannot leave it in her bedroom without the whole room smelling of paint fumes. We are now proceeding to try to air it out by leaving the pieces distributed about the house. We are hoping it absorbs some of the house smells to suppress the smell. If this does not work we can't use it as a bed frame for our daughter. It likely will become a small greenhouse for our backyard garden instead. Very frustrating, I definitely would not buy this again for our second daughter when she gets older.It is probably my error, but I have build tons of stuff in my days and this here was a heffer. I constantly kept putting things on backwards and the screws are hard to put in. But my son loves it, I strung lights Across the frame to light up his room and it is now his happy place. I do 100% recommend this bed for a first bed for your kid, but have someone help you as it confused me a little and would have built faster if I had someone double check the directions behind em to endure I’m following the the same as they see.Where to begin ... overall I'm happy with the bed itself , it's sturdy , cute , and fun . My 5 yrs old really enjoying it . And use it as a play house yoo.It's way bigger than I thought (didn't measure the room before I bought it) , so it makes the space all tight.I was disappointed though !! Why? Because ,the bed side frame has some of the paint scratched , it was not a big deal but still I pay my money I expect perfection.The main second disappointment was the delivery, I paid 100$ for delivery, thinking I will get the box inside my girls room not the drive way !!! It wasn't even on my front porch. So to pay 100$ for this kind of delivery is ridiculous!! And then you have to do the toughest part , carrying this 75 pounds box up the stairs. For that reason I most likely won't use this seller again honestly.But again I'm happy with the look of the bed and quality.This bed frame came with strong smell after unpacked. If it’s a concern to you, not recommended. I unpacked it and put it on our yard deck for over 1 week, the smell is almost gone.Then we started assemble it. My husband is very handy on furniture assembly, always read all manual through. He never got assembly wrong.But this one, oh my god, is so terrible.We assembled step by step but found wrong when we started to assemble the top horizontal beams.Anyway, not recommended on this one.This is a very cute bed. It is not terribly sturdy, but it's fine for the purpose. Doesn't need to be. assembly was challenging and the instructions poor. But it's doable - just pay close attention to the images compared to the actual items. Some of it is counter-intuitive.and my 2 year old granddaughter is happy to have her own bed at our home and we look forward to decorating her 'house' over time!
