When not zoomed in, the image is pretty good. When you zoom in, the image loses brightness, contrast and clarity. If used as a spotting scope, that won't matter much, but limits the image quality when bird and wildlife watching. The camera mount is usable, but is challenging to get and keep my phone camera lined up. It also does not fit a larger phone with a case. Overall, this is okay, but not great.Seems to be good build, have not used it in the field yet. I have a clamp for mounting scope on car window [ planning road trip in the mountains ] On drivers side when I roll scope over to see out eye piece the focus knob hits the set screw knob ??I have yet to take this to the range, but have used it other places and the zoom is amazing, clarity is great. Not overly heavy comes with carrying case.If you are not looking to drop 500-1000 for a spotting scope this would definitely work.Lightweight spotting scope. The eye relief does turn with the zoom adjustment. Therefore you have to take camera off or loosen the adapter to zoom when mobile phone is attached. That is inconvenient. But it still produces good clear images of objects at about 200-250 feet away.Just as described.. nice quality and easy to set up and use.like this scope, what i neededUnbelievably amazing!Probably really great if you know how to use it, but it’s not for us.Das Spektiv war gedacht für Erdbeobachtungen und ein wenig um in den Sternenhimmel zu schauen. Die Verarbeitung ist aus meiner Sicht sehr gut. Das Zubehör hat eine gute Qualität, ist gut zu gebrauchen. Das gepostete Foto ist mit dem Spektiv und einer Abfotografie des Bildes mit einem Samsung Galaxy S9 gemacht worden. Warum das Samsung gerät, weil dies einen Modus hat, in dem man alles manuell einstellen kann. Die geringe Unschärfe am unteren Rand des Mondes kam von einer geringen Verschmutzung des Objektives. Das Bild erscheint noch klarer als auf dem Foto dargestellt wenn man durch das Okular schaut. Die Helligkeit hier ist etwas reduziert, damit man mehr Kontrast auf dem rechten Bereich des Mondes hat. Dieser erscheint ansonsten auf dem Foto zu hell und man kann nur schwer etwas darauf erkennen. Diese Probleme hat aber, wie bereits gesagt, nur die Handy Kamera nicht das Spektiv selbst. Das Stativ ist nutzbar aber für Nachtbeobachtungen eher nicht geeignet. Ich benutzte ein recht gutes Kamerastativ. Die Optik macht einen sehr guten Eindruck für Erdbeobachtungen und Himmelsbeobacthungen. Die Bedienung fällt leicht. Die Elemente zum Einstellen - Einstell- und Fixierschrauben sind sehr gut zu bedienen und machen ebenso einen wertigen Eindruck. Ich bin mit dem Spektiv in jedem Falle sehr zufrieden. Es entspricht voll und ganz meinen Erwartungen.Bought this product as a means of providing my space mad 4 year old with an introduction to stargazing, but also to have a functional item for things like whale watching. So far we've only used it to look at the moon but I'm incredibly impressed by how much detail we were able to see just from the x60 zoom and my phone's camera zoom.Arrived quickly and great for looking at the birds and seals etcCan't properly use this yet as the tripod that came with it is a table top one - which you cannot see from the images so is misleading.Exactly as described.
