LEGO Creator Family House Building Toy Set - 3-in-1 Model Kit for Kids & Adults - Perfect for Home Decor, Gift Giving & Creative Play

I’ve been wanting this set since 2014 and while Lego discontinued this set, I received the set just as I saw it when I was younger. Perfect condition. The light up brick needs a change of batteries, but everything else was perfect.We purchased this for our son's 6th birthday, with plans to help him build it. We researched a lot of different sets for around the same price, and this one seemed like it would be fun to play with as well as to build. The light brick is a fun addition, too.We really like that there are different building options, too, that our son can attempt on his own (they are labeled as easier to build than the main creation.) The house opens in the middle, which makes playing with it easier, and the car is fun to play with separately. There were also a lot of basic pieces included in this kit, which makes it more flexible when the kids want to make their own creations. Some sets have a lot of unusual specialty pieces.The only issues we had were during the building process, sometimes it was a little confusing as to which side of the house we were working on. The instructions went back and forth between the two halves and it took us a few pages to figure that out.It was a little spendy, as most Lego sets are, but overall, this was a great purchase!so my son is a lego fan and we have a lot of lego. we built some 800pc lego set and stuff before but this was the hardest set we have ever built!! lego usually put the number on the small bags so we know which one to open and start, however, this set is 3 in 1 style house, they had no numbers! so me and my husband had to open everything first and let me tell you, just to look for the parts took really long time for usit was really hard but it worths it. it's great looking lego. i love the house can be opened and the lighting brick is just awesome!! my son has a lot of mini figs already so 2 mini figs aren't problem at allthis is not definitely the lego set for beginners. but i love it.my husband thinks the house is too small.... well, the box is very big. so maybe that's why he thought it looks small.the main house (2 stories) are about 7 inches high. the bottom green plates are about 10 inches. i actually loves it cuz it's not too big and it won't take a lot of spaceMy boys love this set. More pieces, slightly more challenging (8-12) so more work. My five year old got the hang of this quickly. The set comes with lots of instructions which are very clear. It's 3 in 1 so you have the option to build two other types of houses but they use less bricks. I like the original house (see image) the best. The house has hinges so you can open it up and play inside. It's also easy to pull of the roof without breaking anything since it only has a few attachment points. Good bonding thing between parent and child. I would have given it five stars but since we never got the LightBrick to work I'll give it four. I called Lego and they are sending me a free new LightBrick in 7-10 days. (They just need the Brick number).LEGO designs have come a long way since my days. The LEGO designers are very creative. Although this set is rated for 8-10 year olds my 6 year old took on the challenge of assembling the set himself. Two days later the set was completed. My 6 year old would give this 5 stars but the instructions could have had a better layout. Having the choice to build one of three designs is great and it keeps my child busy with more ways to build this set (not that it takes him away from his other LEGO sets). My child is happy with the set and hasn't complained about it other than the instructions issue (I find this issue in all LEGO toy sets).I wonder what LEGO designers have in store for future house designs?I would recommend this set to others.this was a gift for my 9 yr old. He is a big Lego fan and was really looking forward for this. it is a popular item and therefor not available everywhere. I was glad I found it here and the price was not too bad, considering Legos aren't so cheap. He totally loved it when he got it and got to work on building his house. He is a really skilled and has experience with Legos, but it took him 2 days, approx about 5-6 hours total. (two 3hr sessions) I would recommend ages 8+ and patience! When he was done he was very proud and so were we. A definite good buy to encourage motor skills/building self esteem/ and using their noggin!Never mind the trendy "themed" Lego sets. This is a timeless set that will give you (and/or your family) much joy.I spent 3 relaxing hours on Christmas Day with my 6-year old assembling this.I gathered the next pieces that he needed, and he did the building. The battery powered light fixture inside is very, very clever and is activated when you press down on the chimney. It can't be "left on" accidentally.What a pleasure! Excellent value for the money. Wow, are there ever a lot of little pieces!The architecture depicted by the set reminds me of "Frank Lloyd Wright" meets Lindal Cedar Homes.Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on this setLego is always boy's favorite. Brand new, all well sealed. Well, there are only about 2-3 very tiny components missing. Not a bid deal though. shipping took about over 1 week.My son loves it, especially for the light-up brick. The box was damaged when we received it though. Luckily nothing inside was damaged. Can rarely go wrong with LEGOHours of fun with a quality product. The light up brick is an awesome addition bringing the model to life. All three projects are wonderful to put togethergood toy. battery on light brick burns out quickly though...daughter loves the opening garage and the car. put it together mostly herself over 2 daysReçu rapidement et ma fille en fut très heureuse
