The bed is quite beautiful and sturdy. I would give it 5 stars but it was a challenge to put together. It took me (I’m 5 months pregnant btw) 5 hours to build and I did have to get my husband’s help for some parts that require two people. BTW I love to build things (furniture included) so I’m pretty quick and experienced.PROSBeautifulSturdyUniqueIt came quickly (with shipping fee).No missing or damaged pieces.Directions are “ok” with MOST pieces marked.CONSTime consuming to build but not hard. The most complicated part of the build had the pieces mis-marked (AB CD) so once I got the pieces together, I almost had a nervous breakdown when the next step wouldn’t work because the pieces were mis-marked. I had to redo the hardest step which added to the timeline. Some of the hardware pieces share bags, so when I was organizing the pieces I originally thought I was missing things, but after careful review everything was there (just in shared bags). I found this uncommon. Some boards have holes on a specific side but there aren’t indicators for which direction to install them (facing forward or back) and you have to check several steps ahead, or guess, which way to go. It does matter.Building the 2nd frame was not “hard” but I recommend paying attention to squaring it properly yourself, there aren’t predrilled holes to indicate that everything is straight. The bed is impossible to remove from the room once built (if you have a standard door).*It doesn’t recommend a tape measure, but you’ll need one.OverallI would recommend this bed for those who have experience building furniture…i.e. ikea is super easy for you (because these directions do not compare with ikea). But make sure to double check the next steps before your complete a step because the pieces can be mis marked or need to go in a specific direction that isn’t listed.Ps my 2.5 year immediately started trying to swing from the roof so keep that in mind if your kid is a climberIt looks good, although a little difficult to assemble, the wood is of low quality, you must be careful when tightening the screws but it works for what you need it for.My 4 year old daughter loves this bed. However, we had to take off the bar that goes across she hit her head a few times getting out of bed.The product is not worth the price. I receive two boxes. When I opened both I notice that all the wood parts were poorly painted in some cases you could even still see the wood, The two drawers came with defects on the corners, some of the planks came cracked, poorly marked pieces as they use little stickers with numbers but when you start taking the parts out of the box the stickers are already loose inside so you have to do some figure it out to know what is what. If you are not handy or haven't build anything complicated before I wouldn't recommend in doing it yourself. YOU will need at least 2 persons to build it. After all that I finally build it and had to give a fresh paint.Absolutely hate the drawers! They aren’t attached and it’s probably because of the pull it bed option. Other than That it’s very cute my kiddo loves it and very study and love the colorOnce assemble it looks beautiful. One of the holes on the bottom bunk did not allow the screw to fit. This could have been a much better product but the instructions aren’t clear they don’t provide the information as far as the sides being in or out. Some parts stickers were mislabeled as well as missing. The crown takes two screws on each top end which will hit each other if you use the angle shown per instructions. Paint was faint on many parts as well as huge accessories holes that don't even have a sticker to cover it. Bottom drawers don't have a stop stick so they can slide all way to the other end. Pictures say a thousand words.
